About The Artists
ROBERT
Robert Bray mpa, is one of Canada’s most celebrated photographers. He has been awarded Canadian Portrait Photographer of the Year 3 times, and has the distinction of winning Alberta Portrait Photographer of the year, 6 times.
He received his Master of Photographic Arts degree from the Professional Photographers of Canada in 1989. Some of Robert’s work is exhibited in Canada’s National Archives and graces walls in the homes and offices of business leaders, sports celebrities and everyday families. In 2007, he was awarded the coveted “Yousuf Karsh” Award by the PPOC.
In 2005, Robert was commissioned by the Government of Canada to photograph Queen Elizabeth ll for Canada’s official Royal Portrait.

◻️ I am a Husband and father to 5 children (2 sons, 2 nephews, and 1 daughter).
◻️ The biggest Oilers fan in Edmonton and book my sessions around game days.
◻️ I have 1 granddaughter that is my whole world.
◻️ I instruct some classes at NAIT.
◻️ I have a doodle dog named Paisley.
◻️ I love black earl gray tea & diet coke.
◻️ I get distracted easily by light, especially on someone's face.
◻️ Did I mention I am a BIG Oiler fan?

RAILENE
Railene brings a passion for photographing families and children. She is a master at capturing personalities and completing the portrait with artistic refinement. Her inspiration comes from the people she photographs and the stories that she captures. She is an award winning Portrait artist and has earned a degree in Sociology, as well as a NAIT Photographic Technology diploma.
Recently won Alberta Wedding Photographer of the Year.
Railene is an adventure seeker, sports lover, and mountain enthusiast. She is passionate about creating the perfect portrait to tell your story!
Railene's Facts:
◻️ I love to camp in the summer and stay up late by a fire.
◻️ I have severe FOMO.
◻️ I played basketball in post secondary and still play in womens league.
◻️ I have a degree in Sociology that I do nothing with.
◻️ I love traveling and have been to over 20 countries.
◻️ I married a Peruvian and am trying to learn Spanish.
◻️ We have 2 dogs and 1 cat that run our house.
◻️ Me and my husband take our dogs for off leash walks and are always trying to find more trials within Edmonton.
◻️ I spend some free time on the lake, pretending to fish with friends.
◻️ I grew up on an acreage being a TomBoy with my 2 sisters.
◻️ I enjoy coffee & tea during weekdays and a good cocktail on the weekends.
◻️ I love shooting weddings, but always feel nauseous from nerves before EVERY wedding day. This always goes away within 30 minutes of photographing!
